It’s not the end of the world
We don’t have that kind of power
It’ll continue to turn
Either with us or without us

It was here long before
And it long will outlast us
So it’s neither mine nor yours
For it long will surpass us

Calling out, uncertain and afraid we feel we know not what we need
But reaching out and lifting up our gaze we see
Eventually, the world will find its way back to peace

It’s not the end of the world
Yeah, these bodies are but matter
And anyway it unfolds
Eventually our particles will scatter

It was here long before
And it long will continue
So since we can’t close the door
Might as well let the light shine through
